Great news! There are plans to travel from the Netherlands to Kenya in the summer of 2027 with a team to provide practical assistance with the expansion of the Dickson Comprehensive School and to facilitate exchanges between Kenyans and Dutch people. On Sunday 31 May, the first meeting was held with people interested in taking part in the trip. During a convivial lunch together, Willem from the S2S Foundation spoke about the work of S2S, the country of Kenya and the 2018 trip. Ria and Matheka were also there to answer questions about Kenya and S2S.
After the summer, we hope to have a lovely, diverse group of people together. We will then start to finalise the details of the trip and take steps to fund the project.
